From this presence-based posture, the essence of the work of TTWM is assisting organizations in the creation of healthier leadership cultures, specifically in churches, non-profit groups, and businesses. Wherever an organization is on the trajectory of its purpose, vision and mission, whatever challenges it has been facing or is going to face, however healthy or dysfunctional the current leadership environment may be, we delight in coming alongside and strengthening the leaders in those environments to be more who God has designed and called them to be.
TTWM views leadership as influence that shapes culture -- the shared attitudes, values, goals and practices of an organization or group. An organization that was birthed in strong purpose and mission can find itself experiencing all kinds of purpose and mission drift because the culture that was needed to maintain the focus on purpose and mission was not nurtured and purposefully grown. Instead, other cultures can form as the assumptions and norms of individual leaders come into play with one another, sometimes for great health and well-being for the organization, and sometimes for deep conflict and negative engagement.
